Shell Grotto, Margate
A few weeks ago I took a trip to the seaside town of Margate to see its beautiful Shell Grotto. The grotto was discovered in 1835 but is still shrouded in mystery. No one is completely sure who created it, when, or for what purpose. But one indisputable fact is how utterly stunning the grotto is.
