Sweeps Festival
The Sweeps Festival is a lively annual event held in Rochester, Kent.
If you like folk music, morris dancing and/or colourful costumes then this is the place to be! The Sweeps Festival is the biggest morris dancing festival in the world and this year welcomed over 50 morris dancing groups to Medway, in addition to a range of talented musicians and bands. Sweeps is a celebration of Spring and takes place over the May bank holiday weekend.
